You know, there might be a light at the end of the tunnel after all.
The papers are full of speculation on when Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, the latest member of the "Bush Mafia" to be exposed, will be forced out of office.1 We can't wait. So while many people were busy updating their NCAA basketball tournament predictions this week, the staff of TrueMajority was occupied with trying to predict the exact day/time we would get to say goodbye to this enemy of the Constitution.

After everyone picked a date and wrote it on the wall we realized a couple of things: 1) We have a really small staff; and 2) it would be a lot more fun if more people were playing. That’s why we are inviting you to join our office pool! Just pick when you think Alberto will go, and you could win a year’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. The closest guess to the actual time wins.

You remember Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, right? He's the guy who signed off on the legal memo giving the O.K. to "waterboarding" and other types of torture; who told the President the Geneva Conventions were "obsolete";2 who championed the notion that the President has power as Commander-in-Chief to ignore laws. Now it seems like his office may have fired U.S. Attorneys simply for not being "Bushie" enough.3
It's starting to look like Americans won't stand for a chief law enforcement official who doesn't believe in the rule of law, though. So hurry! This may not last long...
And be sure to tell your friends and officemates to play too – then they'll have to share the ice cream if they win.
