What was the first song you ever heard by 6? By himself, not with the Police? probably "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free" but the one off that album that made a real impact was "Russians."

What is your favorite song of 2? "Desperado," for the live version that still haunts my memory. Just aching and sad and with this unexpected love to it...

What is your favorite song by 9? "Turn the Page." Maybe one of my favorite songs, period.

When did you first get into 1? *has hysterical laughter* I grew up, literally, with Springsteen as a major soundtrack.

How did you get into 3? A friend gave me a copy of one of their albums, and I was hooked.

What is your favorite song by 4? Maybe "Why Worry."

How many times have you seen 9 live? Not yet, although there's a chance this year.

What is a good memory concerning 4? Playing an entire block of their music the first semi-spring day, junior year of college. Fresh air, good friends, and the feeling of winter almost being over.

Is there a song by 10 that makes you sad? "I'm Not Waiting."

What is your favorite song of 1? "Meeting Across the River." There is no logical reason for this, except when they play it in concert, I feel like it's a gift given just to me.

How did you become a fan of 10? The video for Wicked Game, of course. Amusingly enough, its not my favorite of his songs.

Thanks. I'm settled on the sofa with tea, strawberry ice cream (very healing!), blankets, and all the work I need to get done in the next 48 hours. So we'll see how I do.

Ah, I love "Why Worry" and "This War Is Over" too. I wrote a poem I liked after hearing it, but I cannot find it for the life of me. "Russians" is a favorite, but so is "Fragile".

Joyously, I read this immediately after talking (excitedly) to my roomate about the fact that we are going to see #3 twice next week. They are playing at Town Hall two days in a row on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm so thrilled. Have you heard their new album? Happily, wonderful. Although I like just as many Emily songs as Amy songs on it, which is surprising. Best part though? They featured Pink on Rock and Roll Heaven's Gate.

Also? I'm just getting over a cold, so I commiserate. Our cat? Totally loved it because it meant I spent all day on the couch with him instead of running around like a maniac. It got to the point where it felt like I was sneezing cat hair though.
