water strikes again
Mar. 5th, 2004 10:01 amYep, in the shower, and thinking about a request from my editor, and suddenly the final scene comes to life for me. I know where it's taking place, I know what it looks like, and even the blocking for the penultimate action. And a plot problem I had been worrying at (why does such-and-such happen?) is solved by one of the visuals, that makes me think "oh, of course! That's why it happened like that!"
A few more of these instances, and I'm going to ask our tax guy if we can't write off the water bill as a work-related expense...
Now to get it all down on the page. Wheee! *reaches for the chocolate-covered kona beans*

Date: 2004-03-06 08:50 am (UTC)IIRC, the structural reinforcements for said hot tub =were= allowed to be written off because the sills on that side of the house were rotted out. (enabling)So if you put a hot tub in and have to do structural reinforcement, You Never Know what can be written off.(/enabling, ducking, grinning)
Boy, I hope putting that hot tub in will wind up helping the house's eventual resale value when it gets sold in probably another six months to a year....
