So, I have a room at the Inn (a distant Inn, but an Inn nontheless) for the San Diego ComicCon.
Which means I'm probably going.
Which means I have to decide which other convention within that six week period falls by the fiscal wayside: NASFiC or Necon.
I really wanted to gt back to Necon this year. I miss me my Necon. But it also happens to be the one that doesn't fall heavily to the "promote and publicize" side of the ledger, which is what this is all about.
*grump*
It sucks being an adult.

Date: 2007-02-06 10:43 pm (UTC)Here's a handful of enabling ideas. (Other people will have good ones.):
- Instant ramen are cheap.
- Put one of those cheesy PayPal Donation links on your site and get your fans to subsidize the trips.
- It is a business expense, so you get to write it off.
- Sell excess body parts.

Date: 2007-02-06 10:47 pm (UTC)Although I do hope you have at least one Thing that's not on Saturday. After the hell of just trying to get in the building last year, I'm not doing Comic-Con Saturdays for a while.
