I really hated that arc tho. The meaness of the cop as he exerted his petty power. grrrr.

Ah, whereas I loved it - the way he moved from helpless patient/victim to power player? The fact that he was projected as being an unpleasant but dogged light for reality in House's denial, a payback for House's attitudes in the past - a good guy, if not a nice guy? How everyone else (including himself) saw him as Just Retribution and it turned out he was being just as damaged and petty as House himself? And how at the end he was still right about House being an untrustworthy addict (mostly), for all that he wasn't a good guy, either?

It was... well, it sort of screamed "Doris" to me. *grin* IOW, very true to the entire world of Gregory House.

An image of House, perhaps, if he weren't in a profession where he helped people?

That's not to say that police don't help people. No one sees themselves as the bad guy in their own story, so I found Morse's portrayal well done.

Last night's episode was one of the best this season in my estimation.

I loved the way Morse played him as reasonable, polite and implacable. It's hard to believe that's the same actor from St. Elsewhere. Then again: acting.

they are not traditional zombies, but they shuffle and they are misshapen and gross, and they WANT TO BE AMONG LIVING PEOPLE.
