A few views of Italy -- the plan was to mellow, eat, sleep, wander, and eat. That was pretty much what happened. :-D


We arrive in Lake Como, Italy (yes, this IS where George Clooney owns a villa. No, we didn't see him.)

Beautiful. I studied in Austria a lonnnnngggg time ago. We visited almost all of Austria, Germany up to Munich, parts of Switzerland, Italy down to Venice and then off to Paris. I loved it. I seriously want to go back and see things I missed as well as revisit what I saw then. I'm jealous.

I am fighting off the urge to take a month or so and study Italian in a full immersion course. But first I have to deal with deadlines, cats, finances....
