Best. Advice. Ever.
Dec. 20th, 2006 03:22 pmBecause I am a lazy thing (and the stereo is in the other room) I am not-really-listening to a radio talk-show of the call-in variety. And I didn't quite hear the original question (something about a female friend and her baby and the dubious paternity regarding the friend's boyfriend) but the (female) caller asked "what should I do?"
And the host replied "Nothing! It ain't your business!"

Date: 2006-12-21 04:51 pm (UTC)I dunno. I think I can feel how I like about someone else's idiocy. Some people do suffer from Too Stupid To Live Syndrome and deserve the hairy eyeball. Whether one has the right to actually do something about such things is another issue entirely, but I can take a dim view of certain behavior if I want to.

Date: 2006-12-22 03:20 pm (UTC)I very much feel superior to someone who not only does stupid things, but won't even try to do the right thing or know what that right thing might be. None of us lives in a vacuum, and my life is affected by people who make bad decisions. The '04 election leaps to mind as an example.
In a nutshell, perhaps it's started...
