a most interesting sandwich

Lightly toasted panne rustica with a layer of very sharp cheddar and several thin slices of Jonagold apple.

Surprisingly good. May need mustard.


ETA: honey dijon's not bad.

Love cheddar and apples in a sandwich. Another favorite: Fontina cheese, pears, caramelized onions, and arugula.
