but when the city supplements its usual permanent "no parking these days between these months for street cleaning" signs with paper signs that say in large red letter NO PARKING TUESDAY: CARS WILL BE TOWED....

do you really have the right to come out on Wednesday morning and be surprised and angry that your car has been towed?

Me, I don't think so, no.

But maybe it's just me.

from the sounds rising from the street this morning, people Did Not Clue In. What's amusing is that this is a neighborhood where many if not most of us have off-street parking, and New Haven is known for it's approach to towing (oo look! a money-making opportunity!). So they really have no-one to blame but themselves.

This has not stopped some rather creative cursing.
