a few posts back, alfreda89 suggested that my author photo involve me with either or both cats.

I really wish there were someone here with a camera right now, as I am propped up in bed, laptop on lap, with Boomer curled up to my right, one paw on his side of the laptop, Pandora to the left, with her chin (as usual) resting on HER corner of the laptop. They pause, occasionally, to glare at each other, then go back to pretending the other doesn't exist.

When I said I didn't want kids, I should have specified of ANY species....

I'd never give either of them up, except under dire circumstances. But I do wish they'd remember that they're supposed to be pets, not four-legged siblings with rivalries and psychological traumas demanding parenting skills...
