lagilmanMuch good news around the country in terms of the Republicans being told where they get off, but I am disgusted to report that we're still stuck with Joe L. here in Southern New England.
Bah.
Still. We tilted, country overall, Blue. Bush, no doubt, will pretend it didn't happen, and demand better Diebolt machines for the next election....
On a related topic, my mother informed me last night at dinner that the spouse of an old friend -- now retired -- now works as a stoolie for the government, reporting "unAmerican conversations." He apparently takes this, and the implications thereof, quite seriously. I have informed her that she needs to send him to my house during one of my dinner parties. His fascist little head will spin so fast and so hard trying to keep track of who is saying what, it (his head) will explode. And we'll all get on new and exciting lists!
