lagilmanThis evening, I sent off the proposal for Retrievers #5 to Madame Agent, and if she has no changes to suggest, it goes off to Madame Editrix. And the full draft's due in six months.

Saying 'well I did it in x time' is sort of like saying "well, I wear green, you should be abe to wear green, too." Skin tones and writing patterns differ.
And I seem to remember that you wrote that book so fast because of a publisher SNAFU, not beause you thought it would be fun?
