An Interview, and an Object Lesson
Aug. 21st, 2006 03:49 pmThe interview with Moi is here
Surreal: Would you classify the bulk of your work more as horror or dark fantasy?
LAG: Absolutely dark fantasy. Except the romantic stuff. That’s horror.
The Object Lesson is to Doublecheck Your Sources, because the interviewer -- rather than asking me -- took her biographical info from an on-line source that had the facts wrong.
ETA: they have now corrected the error.
So. For those of you wondering, the opening paragraph of this interview is NOT my life, it belongs to Jennifer Heddle. Somewhere, somehow, someone who Didn't Doublecheck Their Sources got us conflated, and has been spreading the error since then.
*shakes head sadly*
The actual Q&A part of the interview is true, tho.
