meerkat happiness is...
Jul. 27th, 2006 10:11 pmpremium pistachio ice cream.
I can only eat a small amount (pesky lactose intolerance, not to mention the calories) but oh. Yum. Happiness.
Vanilla for sundaes and root beer floats, strawberry if it's fresh-made, but pistachio.... yum. Did I say that already?
So if you could only have one flavor of ice cream for the rest of your life, what would it be?

*drools* *gains ten pounds just thinking about it*

The lemon verbene ice cream at Casa Bini in Paris
OK, so I chose more than one. Each of these approaches the erotic in intensity. But if it really really had to be one, it would be the first one.

Best dairy-free ice cream substitute that I can actually eat, Chocolate Fudge Rice Dream. Virtually indistinguishable from medium-quality ice cream.

Date: 2006-07-28 08:24 pm (UTC)(the best stuff I ever had was from a gelateria near Todi in Tuscany, where you could smell the chopped-up nuts before the cone got anywhere near your mouth, and the flavor was... *dies* My dad and nephews and I would drive completely out of our way to go back there on a warm summer night.)
