And lo, the thunder did crack and the lightning did flash, and the rain and winds did come, and we did gather on the porch to sing haleluja...

Okay, we didn't sing. But there was a lot of "oh thank god" being said.

It's still far too warm for comfort. But the rain is cold and the breeze is brisk, and there's cloud-to-ground and cloud-to-cloud lightning making my nerve endings snap and tingle, and all's right with this corner of the world...

We had a thunderstorm on one side, and pink-sunset-lit-clouds on the other. Amazing, though the storm was a little short and far away for *real* excitement.

Only in the mid-eighties for the rest of the week! Relief!

New reader here. As the storm was ravaging my area last night, I was thinking "Wren would be so stoked right now!"

Me, I miss having power in the house.

Oh that's too funny! And I need a laugh b/c I just found out we might not get our power back until SUNDAY! I'm thinking of moving to the office until then...

P.S. Didn't mention in my first post but meant to: loved Staying Dead. :-)

We had dry lightning the other night. That is something we DO NOT need. Mes wants rain and rain and rain.
