weather update
Jul. 18th, 2006 12:23 pmIt's hot. It's very hot. It's very hot and sunny, with rising humidity, and there is no breeze.
It is, IOW, my idea of Hell.
I'm not a big advocate of air conditioners, but today I'm thankful for them, yes.
Although will be less so when the inevitable brownouts hit...

Date: 2006-07-18 04:54 pm (UTC)BTW, my daughters and I were perusing our local Borders the other day when we came across the first in the Grail Quest series. My oldest daughter is quite the fantasy buff and begged me to pick her up a copy. So we've added your book as well as Keiths "Dragon Precinct" to our familys "book of the month club" discussions. :)

Date: 2006-07-18 05:18 pm (UTC)When I went outside at lunch, the air had the feel of thundergods waking, so we may get our wish...
I just need to make sure I'm home in time for it -- Boomer-cat has proven himself to be a total wuss when it comes to violent storms, and needs mommatwolegs to be there to protect him. *eyerolling*
