Three weeks ahead of deadline.
Now to let it sit for a day or two, and begin the "does any of this actually make sense?" read-through. With luck, and kind gods, I'll be able to hand the polished draft off exactly on deadline.
At which point it will sit on her desk for a month-plus, but it won't be my responsibility any more.

Date: 2006-06-12 12:57 am (UTC)After our joint revisions are worked into the manuscript, it'll probably come out to around 95,000, which is close enough for production work. Thankfully, these books have lots of dialogue, so the page count works out, either way.
