for various reasons, I'm refreshing my familiarity with Yiddish. And I figured, hey, why should I suffer alone?

So here t'is, the Yiddish Word Of the Week....


Vershtickt: Choking, gagging. The feeling you get when cleaning your freezer after a long power outage, or when someone mentions Simon & Simon slashfic.

in other news, I'm informed that BRING IT ON is currently #76 on Amazon's fantasy bestseller list. Which is sort of like saying that you're the tenth most popular left-handed red-headed Asian person in town, but hey, it beats being the eleventh most popular...
