Thursday and Frustrations

And so of course I woke up this morning with a headache and sniffles. *sigh* I never used to get sore throats, and then I got the mother of all laryngitis one year and now they come like clockwork. V. annoying. Just not quite enough to make you call in sick, but enough that you're always aware of it.

Also frustrating is that while I know exactly where chapter six needs to go, because of various household and social obligations I won't be able to get to it until this afternoon. And when I do it will be longhand (as I'll be afk) and so the going will be slower.

But still. Knowing where to go and not being able to get there just yet is far far better than having time and no idea of where to go, no? So I shall be cheerfully frustrated about it all.

And tonight is dianora2's 'last day at the old job' party at the usual haunt. So odds are I'm going to be a hurting camper tomorrow....

Sadly, my boss is a read bitch about things like that. If I'm not dying, I'm working.

And apparently "They" were right. Single malt is good for a sore throat! :-)
