I now have tv, and I didn't watch it last night because I was off having A Social Life. *watches as jaws drop across North America and parts of Europe.*


And today, I am off to the City for a dental appointment, first night's seder at my folks, lunch with dianora2 tomorrow, and to pick up my weekend houseguest. Somewhere in there, I have another chapter to nail to the wall and a short story to finish. Expect me to be scarce and scattered...

We actually didn't drink all that much, mainly because the age of the attendees was skewed towards 60-something and they were worried about riding the subway after a bottle of wine each... silly adults. But we did our freedoms proud, otherwise.

And we all had Sabra in our coffee, after.

A Social Life

So cool.

We're having a seder at our house. This is a miracle in and of itself. Of course, it's in the new house, the one we don't live in yet, and the guests are bringing half the food and all of the furniture.

I just heard today about the 4 glasses minimum thing (in a lecture about this History of Hematology, of all things, and blood's relation to wine), and all I have to say is damn! Why did the Christian faith leave that one out? :-D

Yes, but we did have the feeding of the multitudes, which is always good if one is on a budget. Though it didn't seem to help at the Holy Thursday service last night when they did run out wine about two-thirds of the way through Communion.

Thankee, and July is the pub date for Bring it On. Plus, a reminder that the mass market edition of Staying Dead is going to be in stores in June, which isn't all that far away now....!
