Still cold-ish, although in that nether-stage of "I feel better but I'm not there yet, and if I push it I will relapse so don't be an idiot, Gilman."

Still working. Another project landed in my lap late last night, which has me intrigued but scrambling for time to get it all done. See above comment. It's a tricky balance, especially since when I'm sick I tend to need closer to ten hours of sleep rather than my usual six. But it will all be managed.

Have put aside f-list reading for the duration, however. If anything's happening in your life you want to share, drop me a note either here or in e-mail, k?

and, for them as might enjoy, a snippet from Burning Bridges:

Sergei walked in the back door of the gallery, not wanting to frighten any potential customers with his unshaven, jet-lagged self. The rear of the building was where deliveries were made; it opened up into the lower level, where the storage rooms were. The floors were concrete, the lighting was bare and harsh, and his steps echoed against the pale green walls and bounced down the corridor in front of him like a herald to announce his return.
“You’re not supposed to be down here.”
Lowell. Why was Lowell down here, and not upstairs schmoozing clientele? Sergei adjusted the strap of his carry-on more securely on his shoulder, and sped up to the room where the voice came from, already knowing fair well whom his assistant was speaking to. Lowell only ever got that tone in his voice when he was dealing with Wren.

ETA: WTF? It's snowing. Hard. Welcome to April.

Read this. It's nothing you don't already know, of courese, but it's a rant we've all done at some point, and Steve puts it together nicely.
