writerly neurosis
Mar. 27th, 2006 09:06 pmI know what I'm doing. Really I do. I planned it to work this way, and I know how to do it, and the bits all fit together and once it's done it will be smooth and seamless and the reader won't even notice what I'm doing until they're well into it.
I hope.
But for now, I'm staring at chapter seven going WTF? How do I get Tab A into Slot B, again? Why did I think this particular construction was a good idea?
Stupid book. *kicks book* *picks up book and cuddles it, murmuring apologies* Stupid author. Get a grip.
I hope.

Gets old, you know?
