Various, Sundry and Public Appearance Updates

First and most important: Harper has set-up a book-signing event at Books of Wonder in Manhattan on April 6th from 5-7PM for several of their authors, including lil' ole moi supporting THE CAMELOT SPELL. For those of you new to the game, the fact of a publisher setting up a signing, for an author(s) is.. well, rare, at this level. Very very rare, and precious, and I am feeling oddly loved. *grin*

Several other HarperFolkwill be their promoting their series as well, including Rick Riordan for The Sea of Monster, and Stefan Petrucha for Yestermorrow (Timetrippers #1) and InRage (Timetrippers #2).

Come out and support the book-troops! We'll make it worth your while...


Second: I love my co-workers. Just sayin.' Will miss them.


Third: Politics today has me beyond steaming mad, so much so that I can't even post about it. Fuckers. The level of misogeny, bigotry and full-out intolerance in this country has gotten to the point where I simply want to cry. And keep moving further and further North...

Fourth: the person singing (bad) blues and playing guitar (badly) somehere in the building needs to STOP. Now. Before I find them, and kill them.


But for now, I am home, I have wonton soup, and I leave Saturday for a week of fun on the sea and in the sun (hopefully).

I can only say what they told me... It may be the bookstore's piggybacking publishers. Which is cool by me, any chance to a/b/u/s/e/ hanf with Stefan...

Stefan does have a deal with Harper for the Wicked Dead series, so it's possible there's much piggybacking going on. Anyway, I'm planning on being there!

BoW is only a couple of blocks from my office, so I'll try to be there. Since you won't be at Lunacon next weekend, this could be the only chance I get to see you this Spring.
