And he was smart and classy and hot, and did we mention hot, during his acceptance speech, too. So, y'know, smart and classy and a tux, and yes I am that easy, why do you ask?

I've always preferred "dishy", myself.

Also: "Dead sexy."

Where was I? Oh, yeah, dinner --

I saw the man in person -- stood close to him -- at a Warners Brothers cocktail party just before the Syriana premiere -- he was still overweight from the role, comfortably dressed,

and so incredibly hot. yowza.

(and I am not a woman who says 'yowza')

I absolutely agree. What sent me into Clooney-inspired hysterics, though, was my mom.
Mom is a reactionary's reactionary. When I visted her today, I barely got the chance to say "hello" before she started firing off the verbal blasts. About the Academy. About this year's Oscar song. About "...all those awful movies with 'social issues'. They should be banned. All of them!
"The only person with any class in that whole ceremony was George Clooney. You could tell he wouldn't be caught dead in one of THOSE movies..."
I really should charge her for the stitches they had to put in my tongue. LOL But I gotta say, she does know how to pick a guy to fill out a tux.
Fading off into George-licious inspired dreamland,

My favorite acceptance speech:
And I'd like to thank the academy, for seating me next to George Clooney at yesterday's luncheon banquet.

:-) Clearly, a woman who understood what was REALLY important in life.
