"I saw music."

There's something to be said for Laurie's sense of timing and his deliveries. And I agree - I think the censors are all watching the Olympics. Their loss. ;)

one channel here shows Jeeves and Wooster at 7, then house comes on another channel. Ahh, an overflow of Laurie.

I think my brain would explode if I watched Laurie go from brainless and affable and British and then instantly become scruffy and cynical and American.

He always loves to ask Cuddy about "discipline" and make naughty faces, too.
There are no censors on TV. They are Standards and Practices.(/phony piety)
WILSON: Which means...?
Censors.
HOUSE: Guess I'm gonna have to stay out of my stash and watch my mouth. Or have someone watch it for me...bummer.
WILSON: Why do you have to go looking for trouble? Just why?
HOUSE: It's the Toulouse Latrec in me.
MUNCH: Fight the power...I was on a crime show for seven years and couldn't say "shit" or "fuck" And I was a fucking hippie. Strains credibility don't you think?
WILSON:Aphasia. Too bad.
MUNCH; Did he use all that 'headache medicine"? Please say no.

Actually, LSD was discovered as a side effect of looking for a migraine cure, so that part is somewhat factual. His ability to obtain it on a whim, however...

What? (innocent face) It was either that or the Zyrtec samples. Right?:)
Oh, I bet that stuff could probably have tons of benefits but we will probably never know.

It might have uses in Parkinson's disease, and as a model for shcitzophrenia, and as a mood elevator. But the side effects pretty much preclude practical usage. It's hard to be functional when you're hallucinating, and habituation is slow (though it does exist).

Yeah, lots of risks, too, of course.

<snerk> Yeah, that line got me. And it was indicative of just how much pain House was in that he completely let it go by him. Heh. Of course, as [livejournal.com profile] badgermirlacca pointed out, if he had said something, it would have called attention to it and they'd have ha to cut it. Heh.
