I'm making chili.

Three hours of simmering, during which I can do nothing but sit with a manuscript and laptop, and occasionally sniff appreciatively. And wait for a promised e-mail.


Now, if it were only snowing, instead of unseasonably warm, today would be a very nice day indeed.


ETA: first batch of chili's done. Tasters all agree -- I so rawk. *grin* One more batch to make, and I might have enough, based on histocial precedent...

I want to go skiing during the Superbowl. It is the best part of superbowl weekend, the fact that the slopes are empty, so I can ski without having to deal with the crowds. :)
