At LEAST everyone seems to be pointing out its a minority gov't and that while everyone made it clear the Liberals are out... it wasn't so much the Conservatives are IN. Caution all around.
I think it came from the feeling that the NPD-middle-of-the-road is nice, but not strong enough or mature enough to run a country. So give em a little more of the pie, ween them onto responsibility, take the Libs out and cautiously slide more to the Cons. Balancing act really. But no CLEAR directive to run ourselves into the ground.
Of course W and I both want to start an online journal of "And today I lost the right to vote..."
