lagilman | why I love being a freelancer...

Today I spent the morning doing Essential Paperwork, then went off into the city to have lunch with the maternal figure (roasted pear salad, sushi, and prosecco, yum), then because it was so unseasonably lovely I walked across town from 3rd & 72nd to Broadway & 94th , and those of you who don't know Manhattan are saying "oh?" and those who do are saying "ow!" Yeah. Took an extended break in the Park to do some client reading, and then had dinner and drinks and gossip with a friend.

I'll pay for it tomorrow, when the work comes back to bite me on the ass, but for the day... it's good to be a freelancer. Yeah.
