Commentator, reviewing a recent drive by the Giants -- "Player X gets it up after Player Y gets it in."
While technically true (they just got the extra point by kicking it through the goal posts after completing a touchdown pass), the wording could have been a smidge less... well, slashy...
And oh baby, two sacks in a row on Dallas. Even if we do nothing else this game, it's been a Good Day.
(we hates Dallas, precious, we do...)
ETA: well, it's a W and you always take a W, but damn it, they should have had this sucker salted away in the third quarter...

Date: 2005-12-04 09:44 pm (UTC)::snicker:: I am reminded of a discussion Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda (the SJ Sharks announcer and color commentator) had about why there were more left handed shooters than right in ice hockey. It started well enough, but then Randy began talking about switch-hitters and how there weren't many players who went both ways, and then Drew started laughing his ass off, and it all kind of went downhill from there.
Most annoying game EVAH.

But at least Dallas lost. Hating the Cowboys is a good and fun activity for the entire family.
