From Lovecraft's oozing caverns to the New York subways, things horrific are often subterranean. Our experts will explore their favorite underground horrors. What is it about the underground that makes it an ideal setting for horror? Must the entrance to Hell always lead underground? There's something in the basement. Let's split up!


I'm using my "My Publisher's Not Hosting A Banquet Table" status to skip out on the rubber chicken on Sunday and go for a Real Brunch, but you'll be able to find me in the bar for the usual post-awards wrap-up session Sunday evening.


Other than that, it's all business-y meal-things. Them as will be there (Barry!), no doubt I'll see you in the bar, or you an drop me an e- or sing out here if you want to set anything up more formal-like....

Yeah, but it's a bitty hot tub--only 315 gallons.

But tonight it was sweet...soft but rising breeze, upper sixties, no rain (hoping for rain tomorrow...)

101 degrees. Pool was in the 70s--I passed....

I'm just kind of playing the entire thing by ear. I've got no schedule at all, and just plan to follow blackholly around until she gets sick of me. I've no doubt she'll lead me into the bar at some point though!
