Just got my author copies of HOW ECONOMICS WORKS: ECONOMICS, as published after a very long delay by Lerner Publications.

They did a pretty good job of the layout, I have to say. But gods, am I glad that project's finally over!




Also got word that the YOUNG WARRIORS anthology has been sold in Australia. Yay! Mainly I heard about this because they want to do some Australian-centric editing my Australia-set story. When I am less tired I will look at the notes -- I think there are myabe three points, and one's certainly valid and the other two sound like PC-ish concerns that I might have to get cranky about...

But foreign sales are foreign sales and we do like foreign sales, we do.

I few years ago I was in the book store and I noticed a new Larry Niven book I had never read before. So I picked it up and brought it home. I started reading and two things struck me as odd. The first thing was that they kept using british terminology. For instance they kept calling the baby's diaper a nappy and things like that. The second thing that struck me was that the story was somehow VERY familiar. Then I realized the reason why it was familiar was that I had read it before. But I knew I had never seen that book title before. Then I noticed in small print on the back, "Not to be sold outside of the United Kingdom." *giggle*
