And I wake, surrounded by felines again. What? Aren't there more comfortable places to sleep? It's not that large a bed, guys. Pandora is annoyed, but other than a growl or two, resigned. And what does it say about me tha I can and will put a hand into a hissing match, confident neither cat will bite me...and be right? Lucky? Still asleep? Or blessed with felines who know I can kick their be-tailed asses?

There are comfy chairs, a comfy couch, and another bed in the house, but we always wake up pinned down by cats. I should conduct an experiment this winter by putting an electric blanket on the empty guest bed ....
