One of the things that sidetracked me this week was getting interviewed by the fine if somewhat odd folk of Dragon Page, for their syndicated radio show/podcast "Cover to Cover." Should air sometime mid-October. Info to follow on Dragon Page.
Did I babble? Did I say anything they had to bleep? You'll have to listen in to find out.
Got the countersigned contract for the next three "Wren & Sergei" books. So it's really truly official now. *whew*
Also, for those who somehow missed it, Aeon 4, with my story "End of Day" is available from the good folk of Fictionwise, among other e-outlets. Go, acquire. Read. Review favorably so I may add to my stable of book-buying minions...
(oops. Was that in my outside voice again?)
I also woke up with a slightly panic-inducing swollen eye, like a mosquito had stung me badly around the sinuses. Want to see someone really really nervous? Give a writer on deadline an eye infection. Thankfully, it turned out to be minor, and I 'only' lost a morning of work. Shout-out to Claritin-D, which did the job like a trooper. /commercial interlude
And while Sunday was given over to other things (cricket, Katrina-worries, Other Obligations) today it's Monday again. Back to work I go...
