Aug. 19th, 2005 01:47 pmOne thing I forgot to mention in my Worldcon roundup was being approached by a friend from the MA area who handed me the July 30th 'SIDEKICK' inset from the Boston Globe, pointing me to p .8, the "You're Up" section.
And there, in the reader's comments about what they're taking poolside, I found one Kimberly Shaw from Boxford, who in addition to the new Harry Potter and JD Robb's ORIGIN IN DEATH, mentioned CURSE THE DARK and STAYING DEAD as "really good reads."
Wheeeeee!

Date: 2005-08-20 12:14 pm (UTC)It was, it really was. And I wouldn't have remembered, either, except I found the paper waiting to be filed. So much for the ego that ate Manhattan, I guess... I clearly need to learn to take myself far more seriously.
