lagilmanDamn. Really really wanted the Cubs to win. Just to get everyone off that poor fan's back.
Now I get to live through tonight's game, and see if I have to kill certain Yankee fans or not (if the Sox do lose, and anyone dares whisper "choke" there -will- be blood on my hands. Losing in the seventh game would NOT be choking. But what I do to the fan who says it might be).
And isn't it a damn good thing I'm not a sports fan? And don't even like baseball all that much? Sheesh.

Ever notice its the folks who've never tried who're the most dismissive of honest effort? Me, I was a smidge of a jock when I was a teenager (rode horseback, skiied, fenced [badly]) and the idea of even being _selected_ for an Olympic team fills me with such awe and astonishment at that person...
But hey, most people think anyone can write a book, too. News flash: most people can't even write a _bad_ book.
But I digress, and hard on the heels of a digresion will come the rant, and that would be Bad. Well, entertaining, but bad. Maybe later.
