Outrage and sympathies -- even to those of you being stiff-upper-lip about it -- going out from here to there. Knowing how much worse it might have been does not negate the horror of it happening at all.

The Pan Mac team (round the corner from King's Cross), Pat Cadigan and her family, and Simon K et al, are all fine. I can't get through on cellphone at the moment but word's getting around.
