Date: 2005-07-06 01:52 pm (UTC)I've a folder of "backhistory" stories for many of the characters, and so when they came and asked for something different for the website relaunch, I thought "hrmmmmm, maybe people would like to see a twenty-something Sergei..."
That story's called "Orientation Day" and it's about Sergei's first day on the job with Andre/The Silence.

Love this glimpse of a younger Sergei. Will we ever get to see his first meeting with Wren and from his POV?

Date: 2005-07-06 07:44 pm (UTC)It's been written, but I don't know if there will ever be a place for me to use it. Interestingly enough, that was when I first realized that this wasn't going to be Wren's story entirely -- he insisted on giving his own impressions and opinions.
Hrm. I should start putting tgether a FAQ for this series, shoulnd't I?

On Amazon.com, a reader gave me two stars, because the plot was getting 'too complicated.' Poor reader-child. It's only just _starting_.
(yes, each book stands on its own as a case-adventure. But if that's all you're looking for, you're missing half the fun, IMO!)
