A Friday *snorfle* and random thoughts

(amusingly enough, GRRM himself sent around the link -- somewhat bemused but proud with it, in that "oh dear, my fans" sort of way we newbies all someday hope to achieve...)
Am back to almost full-up health, just in time to drive up to Boston for Seder. Not wanting to do this. Not wanting to a) pay for Amtrak or b) deal with insanity that is the Chinatown Direct bus, either. We Shall See.
In the meanwhile, am waiting for new laptop to arrive, working on Many Projects Under Deadline, and fending off Siamese, who think that my toes are just the most fascinatin' things they've ever pounced on. And now, of course, one of them has decided to curl up and go to sleep on my cell phone while it recharges. Dude, that rings, you're in for a surprise...
