With the revisions to Staying Dead, that is. Just typed the final addition on the final page. Still have to do one last proofread to make sure I didn't make any new and different mistakes while correcting the existing ones, but...

Ended up watching Stigmata which I'd never seen before (only bits and pieces of it). I know it got savaged in the reviews, but I ... not sure 'liked it' is the right term. It made my brain hurt in good ways.
And so I didn't get to sleep until 1:45. And then was awake at 6:30 because I had to finish making the truffles for the party today. I'm getting better at making them, though -- this year they not only taste good but they're not hideously deformed. *grin* By next year I may be ready to take on more advanced fillings and/or candy coatings...

Date: 2003-12-22 12:18 am (UTC)And I mostly liked Stigmata too, not just for Gabriel Byrne. :-) It was a surprisingly even-handed approach to the subject, neither too religious nor too cynical. I suspect the critics had expectations, which which those of us who catch it late night by accident, don't.
