The Writing Life: keeping me honest

Back in the saddle on Retrievers 3, after a couple of false starts and massive amounts of rethinking a subplot. So we're going to take page from rachelcaine's journal and post wordcount results, to see if the shame of graphic representation keeps me on the straight and narrow, producttion-wise.

This is only an experiment, and may be discontinued without warning if I don't feel it's effective/productive.

I've been doing the shameful wordcount thing of late, and it has helped, though not as much as hoped. I think it would work better if some of my friends would post and say, "By the gods man! Is that all you did today?" It worked extremely well the first week.

I lack the cool graphic, though. Maybe that's it.
