Boy, I've lived with cats for years and I'm not sure what you're talking about, unless it's perhaps the direction in which their whiskers point. For my boys I'd describe it differently: Spanky has sad whiskers (they droop); Merlin has happy whiskers (they sort of float and occasionally swoop upward). But I don't think that's what you're talking about.

Does one of them, perhaps, sleep with his tongue sticking out? Flatbush used to do that occasionally. It was...odd.

Boomer has whiskers that curve out, like a walrus' whiskers, or traditional feelers. Pandora's curve inward, along the jawline.
