The NYT is actually pretty spam-free, in terms of registering. But the link to the NYPL site is the one that's really important. :-)

Find the manuscripts division and call up the records of the international relief organization CARE and you will find a writing credit by yours truly. I worked for the NYPL for seven years and that, the papers of Carl Van Vechten and Fran Lee were among the projects I worked on. It's nice to see the catalog on-line as I can't find my hard copy of it.
