1. relaunched an entire book imprint. (Successfuly, I might add.)
2. ridden a horse in the ocean
3. had my face washed by a baby tiger
4. dunked a bucket of water over on-duty secret service guards
5. been given a guided tour by a ghost
6. fallen in love in a glance
7. ridden camelback outside of Jerusalem
8. fed an eaglet
9. hosted a formal dinner for twenty
10. run a relaxacon. Three times.

Told that story a while back on this LJ. Will see if I can find it again to link to it.


And a relaxacon has no guests, very little programming, and (ideally) a jacuzzi. I ran one called "Phile Cabinet" that was (obviously) an XF-fandom based con, originally, but expanded.

Will never, EVER do something like that again. Even though it was fun for a while.

At the Persephone Retreat last year, I fell asleep on the porch of our guest-house. Which had a resident entity. I was woken up by the sense of someone talking to me. Nobody there. But an urging to get up and walk through the house, which I hadn't done with any real sense of house-as-whole before. When I came back down, I was able to tell out hostess which parts of the house were original, and which had been added, and which had been renovated. And some other stuff besides.

Very pleasant spook -- she came by a few times that weekend, just to say hi, and once sat next to me while I slept and (I think) told me stories.
And me, who is not someone who seeks out spooks. I think, like a cat going to a sleeping body, she found my lack of curiosity/apprehension restful
