Busy day around Chateau Felidae, so here's the first of three posts you might want to pay attention to...

Today is opening day for Paranormal Summer Camp! Among your bunkmates are writers like Kat Richardson, Tiffany Trent, Carrie Vaughn, Nalini Singh, Jennifer Estep -- and, oh, yr 'umble hostess!

Every day brings new guest posts, interviews, reviews, and giveaways... and original stories, including an all new ghost story from me!  So make sure you're there for morning roll call...

BookView Cafe is having our "Dog Days of Summer" sale, which means that there are bargains all over the site.

Including, yes, "Practical Meerkat's 52 Bit of Useful info for New (and Old) Writers)!

Regularly $2.99, use the coupon code DOGDAYLAG2012 when you check-out to get $1 off.

[and remember, all royalties I get from this book through the end of the year will go to the Food Bank of New York.]

And today is the Official (no really, the Official) launch day for Dragon Justice. The day the publisher had on their schedule, not when books actually appear on shelves.*

To celebrate Official Launch Day (oh dear, I'm OLD) and the release of the digital edition, I'm giving away a $30 gift card from SkinIt (or a $25 gift certificate to B&N - your choice).  All you have to do is post here and tell me if you read paper or digital.  If you want to tell me where you picked up your copy of Dragon Justice (or include a photo of you holding/reading it), that gets you another chance to win.  The contest will remain open until Saturday, August 4th.

Oh, and I'm featured on the Paranormal Romance Blog today, talking about the journey that brought you the Cosa Nostradamus!

*stores have been putting the paper copies out ahead of the OLD for years.  Unless you have a national embargo enforced by the publisher, there's nothing that really can be done for it - like kids trying to get half  step ahead of the others, before the light changes and they can all cross the street.... It sucks for those of us who buy ebooks, but it's utterly out of the writers' hands.
