And today is the Official (no really, the Official) launch day for Dragon Justice. The day the publisher had on their schedule, not when books actually appear on shelves.*
To celebrate Official Launch Day (oh dear, I'm OLD) and the release of the digital edition, I'm giving away a $30 gift card from SkinIt (or a $25 gift certificate to B&N - your choice). All you have to do is post here and tell me if you read paper or digital. If you want to tell me where you picked up your copy of Dragon Justice (or include a photo of you holding/reading it), that gets you another chance to win. The contest will remain open until Saturday, August 4th.
Oh, and I'm featured on the Paranormal Romance Blog today, talking about the journey that brought you the Cosa Nostradamus!
*stores have been putting the paper copies out ahead of the OLD for years. Unless you have a national embargo enforced by the publisher, there's nothing that really can be done for it - like kids trying to get half step ahead of the others, before the light changes and they can all cross the street.... It sucks for those of us who buy ebooks, but it's utterly out of the writers' hands.

Date: 2012-08-01 06:50 pm (UTC)I bought it at the Barnes & Noble in Evanston as I hadn't gotten the chance to hunt it down yet in Chicago, and I was up there to get some stuff from the library.

Date: 2012-08-02 07:21 am (UTC)I read #3 fairly recently and #4 is on the to read list in the near future. (I found out I can read library books past the due date if I don't turn my kindle's wireless on, so off the wireless stays for the near future.)

Date: 2012-08-02 07:15 am (UTC)Speaking of ebooks, my boyfriend is reading your Pack of Lies now and I'll get to it when I clear out my to read pile some more. Next up for me is Mira Grant's Blackout.
Am I a nerd because I have a huge official sticker from NASA for its Dawn mission on the back of my kindle?

Date: 2012-08-03 12:04 am (UTC)I prefer paper, although I'm beginning to run out of places to keep books, so I've started loading ebooks on my iPod to read on the go.
