Renovations, Day 5

I either need to start getting up earlier, or just stop sleeping. At least until the renovations are done. That said, there's something particularly pitifully funny about a ginger cat trapped on the wrong side of the plastic wall, when Mom and Big Sister are on the Other Side.

"Mom? Mom, why is the zipper-door closed? Mom? Um, mom?"

Today, we discover if plastering, Spanish-language music, and revisions can co-exist peacefully...

10:15: Tile guy is here!
10:25: Tile guy is Russian-born. Contractor-guys are Hispanic. Apparently they are in a bar trivia league together, or something. I <3 America.
11:40: *pets tile* Tile so pretty. (Tile guy: "this tile is pretty! Very nice!")
12:15 Confab with contractor and tile guy about grout, bullnoses, and door sills. This is why I hire professionals...
