Boomerang, across room. Pandora, on the sofa with me (I'm working on a copyedit). Boomer comes over to investigate, the first time he's directly approached pandy since arrival.

She growled, but her ears remained up.


He jumped up on the sofa, about six inches from Pandy.

She growled, snarled, spat, raised a paw and slaped at him (at, not on -- there was no contact). He jumped down and walked away with a shrug. Clearly her loss.

She jumped off the sofa and headed in the other direction, muttering.


He's so not impressed with Herself. Poor Pandy. I keep telling her she's still the Princess, always and forever, amen.


However, I note that at no point did they disloge the copy edit or otherwise disturb the author. Good felines...
