Staying Dead revisions update

I just realized that I need another scene in chapter six. This annoys me, despite the fact that it's a good scene, will set some later developments up nicely, and will be fun to write. How did I miss the fact that this scene was so clearly needed?

Ah well.

Otherwise things are moving along well, making many notes and scribbling dialogue snippets into the margins, and nodding my head in a pleased and satisfied manner as I solve the problems La Editor has pointed out. Which beats the hell out of lamenting "dreck, dreck, it's all unreadable dreck!"

This feeling of personal satisfaction can't last. But I'll enjoy it while it does.

And Pandora seems to have gotten over the novelty of having me home. Especially since I'm not letting her sleep on the monitor any more. She's gone back to sleeping on the bed. I feel so... abandoned. Think I'll take a break and go annoy her a bit.

I'm nearing the end of stage two of the revisions process. I can always tell when I'm almost done, because I procrastinate more. Starting is tough. Then you get into the flow, and everything grooves... and then you realize ending means you're going to have to start again, and that's the tough part...

But next stage is the final one. Also the toughest one, but hey, they're all tough until they're done, right?
