It comes down, the snow does. Inches upon inches, with inches more to come, and us with a party to go to tomorrow night!

The persons throwing the party have been zinged by snowstorms enough that Peter has decreed next time they choose a weekend for their holiday party, we're picking that weekend to go to Aruba.

And in the meantime, I've finished going over all the revision notes and have started the actual revising. Only to come to a full halt on chapter three, which needs work, we all know it needs work, but nobody seems to know quite what to do. All the information is there, all the implication and set-up; it just doesn't... flow.

And I don't want to skip ahead, because somethig I do here might impact a later scene, but I can't figure out what to do, either.

I may just go out and shovel some more. Physical activity is good for the brain, right? Certainly good for the waistline, after I ate (more than) a few of the cookies I baked this afternoon...

Oh, is that where the snow ended up! The weather folks promised us two or more inches of snow overnight and all we got was rain. It was 39 degrees this morning and I only needed a sweater when I went out at lunchtime. Phooey.

Seven inches? Wow. Even I think that's real snow. I don't think I've seen snow like that in years, though. It kept avoiding me in Michigan and now it's avoiding me in Illinois. Want to not have big snows? Have me move to your state.
