lagilmanAw, nice words about OUT OF TUNE #2 popped up on my screen this morning, via Horror Maiden! Although not their top story pick, my "Last Dance" also came in for mention from the PW review (how did I miss that?) saying "Other strong entries (include) Laura Anne Gilman's "First Dance," a haunting revenge tale."
I'm particularly proud of that story, because as far as I know, I'm the only one who went outside UK/USA folk traditions for my inspiration, using a Mexican corrido instead. Shake expectations up, I say. :-)
